CONSTRUCTION

The cabinet of our GAS WASHER is built entirely of galvanized carbon steel plates, receiving special paint over two coats of primer after all the manufacturing processes are completed to project a maximum useful life of 20 years for the whole set. Optionally, for use in extremely aggressive or corrosive processes, we can supply the cabinet built entirely of stainless steel as well as the other accessories in appropriate plastic to avoid the rapid degradation of the equipment.

* Special Deposit for automatic injection of ENGEBAC detergent to extend the periods of reuse of the circulation water and reduce the effluents harmful effects when directly discharged into the public mains;

* Motorized Valve in the drain and timer to automate the cycles of draining and replacement of the circulation water.

 OPERATION

Essentially, the operation of the GAS WASHER can be described as follows:

* the polluted air is directly suctioned into the Washer by means of an exhaustor always in place in this type of facility, entering through the LAMINATOR . In this device, the usually turbulent flow has its speed reduced and is uniformly distributed against a battery of SPECIAL PULVERIZING NOZZLES that inject water under pressure in DROPLETS of only 60 microns and form a COMPACT LIQUID CURTAIN. This prevents the passage of combustion gases and any solid particles which are collected inside the TANK, allowing the CLEAN AIR and free of polluting elements, after passing through the DROPLET ELIMINATOR, to be discharged directly into the atmosphere since all the POLLUTING ELEMENTS will be floating on the water surface. These elements will naturally and continually overflow by the SURFACE OVERFLOW PIPE or periodically drained manually to the sewage network. Such drainage system is responsible for the internal self-cleaning of the filtered materials and collected throughout the operation, avoiding their accumulation inside the equipment cabinet

AUTOMATION ALREADY INCLUDED IN THE STANDARD VERTICAL OR HORIZONTAL "OL" SERIES:

The following accessories are included in this series of Washers:

* Electric Resistance, Thermostat and Timer automating the heating cycles of the circulation water to clear the nozzles and tubes. This group is responsible for the self-cleaning of the internal components that influence the filtering efficiency of the equipment.
* 220 volts/110 volts transformer when the place bi-phase voltage is 380 volts.
* Tank water level control for protection of the Pump and Resistance.

AUTOMATION NOT INCLUDED IN THE ECONOMIC VERTICAL OR HORIZONTAL "OLG" SERIES:

The following accessories are not included in this series of Washers, but can be partially or fully supplied at the customer's interest:

* Electric Resistance, Thermostat and Timer automating the heating cycles of the circulation water to clear the nozzles and tubes. Their absences must be compensated by greater maintenance care.
* 220 volts/110 volts transformer when the place bi-phase voltage is 380 volts.
* Tank water level control for protection of the Pump and Resistance.

OPTIONS NOT INCLUDED IN THE GAS WASHERS AND ONLY SUPPLIED ON REQUEST:

If the customer is interested and due to the particularities of each process, the following accessories may be supplied through previous inquiry:

* SPECIAL TANK for automatic injection of the ENGEBAC detergent extending the periods for replacement of the circulation water and internal cleaning of the Tank, meeting legal and/or economy guidelines of cost of water supply.

* CABINET entirely built in stainless steel plates as well as all the other accessories in appropriate plastic to avoid the rapid degradation of the equipment.
